What is an SMSF loan?
Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) loans are a type of loan used to purchase an investment property, either commercial or residential property. You use money in your super fund as the deposit and borrow the rest. Any returns on your investment property must be returned to your super fund to help boost the capital of the super fund.
There are fewer lenders who offer SMSF loans and these loans come with higher interest rates, strict rules and tax implications.
